Chemical Peels

Our chemical peel facial treatment is a deep exfoliation process in which a chemical is applied to the skin to tighten it. Following the application of the chemical treatment, it will then peel off leaving behind a new smooth layer of skin.

Chemical peels are ideal for treating wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging, and it is proven to help aid with certain types of acne and acne scarring. Chemical peels can reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, reducing age spots, freckles, and melasma. Essentially, a chemical peel will overall improve the look and feel of your skin.

It is important to know that after a chemical peel facial treatment your skin will be especially vulnerable and sensitive to sun exposure, so sunscreen above a SPF 30 with a “broad spectrum” coverage against UVA and UVB rays should be worn daily and exposure to the sun should be minimized until the skin fully heals.

Types of Chemical Peels

Chemical peel facial treatments are typically ideal for fair skinned and light-haired patients. Darker skinned patients can also benefit from a chemical peel, depending on the type of problem being treated. We offer a variety of peels from mild to deeper TCA peels. The enzyme peel uses a combination of fruit and plant enzymes to gently remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This peel aims at revitalizing the skin while correcting uneven skin tones.

The lactic peel is the perfect superficial chemical peel to provide a deep exfoliation and moisturization of your skin, leaving smoother, brighter skin in its wake.

One of the best peels in the market for taking down tough or stubborn acne. This peel provides a higher amount of salicylic acid than found in common acne treatments to get deep into the pores and cleanse the skin of bacteria, debris, and dead skin cells that lead to breakouts.

A medium depth peel, the 30% glycolic peel provides a deep exfoliation of dead skin cells, bringing to the surface a new, smoother layer of skin. After this peel you can see great improvements from severe sun damage, age spots, wrinkles, and acne scarring.

The 60% glycolic peel provides an aggressive exfoliation while rejuvenating the new layer of skin underneath. Highly beneficial in cases of actinic keratosis (severe damage caused by sun exposure), age spots, and wrinkles.
